Put-in-Bay Road Race – High-Speed Action!
The Annual Put-in-Bay Road Race is located at the Put-in-Bay Airport. Spectators will enjoy the roar of vintage sports cars such as Porsches, Morgans, Triumphs, MG’s as well as many other muscle cars of the past.
Many years ago these same cars raced thru the streets of Put-in-Bay Ohio where the original Races were held. As part of the Put-in-Bay Road Races, spectators will be able to see these cars take to the streets for a parade of the original island road course and view them up close.
The Put-in-Bay Road Races offers more than just a race as there are social gatherings and car shows where you can be up close and personal with these racing machines and their drivers. It is also a perfect time of the year to see the many sites on the island and great Put-in-Bay Attractions such as our wineries, caves, museums, and parks. You’ll also enjoy some of Lake Erie’s finest food at our Put-in-Bay Restaurants.
The Put-in-Bay Resort offers participants a limited number of covered parking race cars upon request. Reservations for parking and hotel rooms should be made by calling the central reservation center at 888-742-7829.
