The 16th annual Put-in-Bay Music Fest at Sloppy Joe’s in Key West, Florida, kicked off on Thursday, February 6th, 2020. Allie Market, Westside Steve Simmons, Pat Shepard, Pete Jarvis, and Ray Fogg performed during the three-day event. Friends gathered from Put-in-Bay, Middle Bass, Sandusky, Cleveland, and other surrounding areas to enjoy the sunshine and entertainment.

On Saturday, the biggest day of the event, Pete Jarvis and Ray Fogg performed together in a tribute to the late Wayne Hammond. Proceeds from their show went on to benefit the Bahama Village Music Program in Key West. The show finale was capped off by a fantastic performance of the “Great Lakes Song,” as an homage to the great Pat Dailey. Put-in-Bay Entertainment was well represented.

Many islanders and summer residents were spotted in Key West including Jack and Lorraine Zimmerman, Brian and Justine Cultice, Dave and Jill Warga, Ray and Laura Fogg, Allie Market, Joe and Lorie Busold, Bob White, Ed Snyder, and Carmen Leffler, Fred and Kathy Kneale, Matt Fortuna, Dave Schafer, Nick Deardurff, Frank, and Karen Vallas, Matthew and Julie Ray, Craig and Sharon Cox, Ray and Pati Arth, and Anthony and Sally Zehe. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the 17th annual Put-in-Bay Music Fest in 2020!

Fun Times As Put-in-Bay Heads To Key West

Sloppy Joe’s The 16th Annual Put-in-Bay Music Fest will be held at Sloppy Joe’s in Key West Florida Feb. 6th – 8th. Key West Florida. Sloppy Joe’s Bar will welcome hundreds of Put-in-Bay Regulars and will pay tribute to Put-in-Bay and our unique flavor of entertainment. It’s always a blast to see Key West virtually taken over by people wearing Put-in-Bay T-shirts as they catch up with their island friends mid-winter!

This year’s lineup includes Pat Shepard, Allie Market, Westside Steve Simmons, Tipsy, and the Donuts (featuring Pete Jarvis) and Pete Jarvis and Ray Fogg’s tribute to Wayne Hammond. Pete and Ray will also host a ‘Twas the Night Before Put-in-Bay Days jam fest the evening before it all begins on February 5th. Many Put-in-Bay businesses support the event by providing lots of give-a-ways that are passed out during the last day of the Festival.

Also happening locally is the annual Dock Trash Yacht Club Party Feb. 7th & 8th in Port Clinton. The Dock trash Yacht Club party has been a tradition that started over 30 years ago in the Ballville Twp Firehouse. The party is Friday, February 7th and 8th. There will be two bands on Friday night and two groups on Saturday night. Summer Is Just Around The Corner!

With a mild winter so far, it’s easy to get into that Put-in-Bay mindset! The Put-in-Bay schedule of events has been posted, and many of the most popular weekends are filling Put-in-Bay Hotels & Rental Homes at a record pace. The annual Put-in-Bay Spring Fling is the kickoff to the year. Held in town at the Put-in-Bay Resort, it features two days of free food & adult beverages included in your room rate.
