Put-in-Bay's scenic camp sites always offer an enjoyable, peaceful vacation getaway. Excluded from the downtown noise, and only a golf cart ride away, both camping sites on the island are great for family-oriented fun.
South Bass Island State Park
The South Bass Island State Park at Put-in-Bay is great for an exciting, adventure-filled day. Complete with 120 non-electric camp sites and 11 full service campsite areas, the campground is equipped to accommodate your every need. And don't forget, the state park is pet friendly!
The South Bass Island State Park also offers sheltered picnic tables, watercraft rentals, a limited fishing supply store, and a playground for kids to enjoy. Guests at the South Bass Island State Park are more than welcome to enjoy poolside fun at the Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center.
Rental Rates and Options
- Cabents: Sleeps six (6). Rented only by the week. Allocated by lottery system. Cabin walls and a canvas roof. $463 plus tax.
- Rustic Cottage: Sleeps up to eight (8). Rented only by the week. Allocated by lottery system. $570 plus tax.
- Primitive Sites: Cost for 2 persons, up to two (2) tents and one (1) vehicle is $22 per night Sunday-Thursday, $27 per night Friday and Saturday. Sites allow up to six (6) people. $5 per person per night after the first two.
- RV Sites with Electric: Cost for two (2) persons is $27 per night Sunday-Thursday, $32 per night Friday and Saturday. Up to six (6) persons on a site. $5 per person per night after the first two.

Fox's Den RV & Camping
This cozy campground is located just a quiet golf cart ride away from downtown Put-in-Bay, and is a wonderful nature experience. Privately owned, the Fox's Den offers over 60 sites with water and electric hookups. The Fox's Den is one of the few places to stay at Put-in-Bay where pets are permitted, so we ask that they be leashed and cleaned up after. The Fox's Den is a peaceful retreat for any family gathering.
For tent campers, the Fox's Den is also equipped with primitive camp sites as well as a clean laundry and shower facility. Other amenities include a camp store, fire rings, and a dump station. Guests at the Fox's Den are more than welcome to use the pool at the Bay Lodging Resort.

Camp Sandusky Campground and Cabins
Camp Sandusky Campground and Cabins has offered great camping experiences to Sandusky Ohio and Cedar Point visitors for over 15 years. Stay in an Amish cabin and relax around a campfire after your busy day. Bring your RV or tent and enjoy our level shady sites. New for this year we are offering double-wide campsites. We are also breaking ground soon on our new sand volleyball court. Enjoy our all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast every morning.
