Also, the Put-in-Bay Aquatic Center and Oak Point State Park can be enjoyed from your kayak on Lake Erie. The Put-in-Bay Aquatic Center offers a variety of exhibits and on-hands activities. Guests can fish from the deck with a loaned rod, reel and bait from the Put-in-Bay Aquatic Center.
Families will enjoy this great experience on Lake Erie. There is no need for worry about a rough journey because the designated kayaking area is harbored by Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Islands. The beautiful limestone cliffs and gorgeous views of Gibraltar Island make kayaking at Put-in-Bay a favored attraction. Kayak the Bay is open from 10 am until dusk from Memorial Day through October. Children 16 and under will need adult supervision. Those 16-18 need their guardian’s signature in order to traverse Lake Erie gracefully aboard a kayak. Put-in-Bay offers a wide range of watersports, including kayaking. There is no better way to explore Lake Erie then to literally paddle your way through it.
