Lake Erie Powerboat Thunderfest Returns to Put-in-Bay & Lake Erie Islands
The Lake Erie Powerboat Thunderfest Offshore Poker Run returns to “B” Dock at Put-in-Bay’s Downtown Boat Docks. These high dollar high-performance offshore boats are capable of speeds in excess of 100 MPH. Each year they gather at Put-in-Bay for their annual signature event. Spectators of these high-speed powerboats can get up close by walking the Put-in-Bay Marinas & Put-in-Bay Docks
Thunderfest Poker Run
65 boats ran the Poker Run last year to 4 destinations and over 225 participants enjoyed the weekends’ camaraderie. The Edgewater Hotel is located across the street from the event for those needing lodging for the weekend’s events. The Put-in-Bay Resort is the official host hotel with the annual dinner and breakfast. The Put-in-Bay Roesrt welcomes boaters and spectators who need reservations to call 888-742-7829.
