Join Kentucky Derby fans at your favorite Put-in-Bay Bars to watch the annual running of the Kentucky Derby! Local bars offer food & beverage specials including the special Mint Julep! Arrive early to enter pools and select your horse to win cash and prizes! Mr. Ed’s bar is a popular location to watch as is the Put-in-Bay Resorts Blue Marlin Swim-up Bar & Grill with their jumbo size TVs!
Where to Watch the Derby
Some of the top places to watch the famous race are the Roundhouse Bar, Reel Bar and of course, all of the hotels and resorts will have the ability for you to see the broadcast in your room. The Put-in-Bay Resort has the island’s largest TV outdoors poolside. For a pleasant place to dine and watch try a waterfront seat at the Keys Restaurant.
