The Annual Volleyball Battle on Put-in-Bay is an all-day-long volleyball event with over2,500 players participating on the island! This massive event with teams from all over a 4 state area descends on Put-in-Bay to compete and have a great time playing the sport they love. Lakeview Beach Volleyball is the organizer of the event.

Volleyball Tournament Players Grouped By Skill Level

Teams of any skill level can enjoy this event. The skill divisions are set up as Open, A, BB, B, C, and Recreational. According to the Lakeview Beach Volleyball website, “the “Rec” division is a “fun division” for beginners where the rules are relaxed. If you feel your team is competitive to a point that you will be complaining about “setting hands” and “lifts” then you will need to register to play in the competitive divisions (C or higher)” This excerpt should give a good idea of the distinction between the divisions.
