Growing older doesn’t mean winding down, staying in, and saying good-bye.

Put-in-Bay Senior Center

The Put-in-Bay senior center is one of the smallest Senior Centers in the state but they have huge spirit and enjoy a great level of participation. During the winter season they are pretty quiet but when the Put-in-Bay Ferry Boats start running they get really get busy as seniors return to the island to enjoy the summer. They have Blood Pressure readings, Coffee Hours, Crafts, Bridge Groups, Card Groups, Bingo, Mah Jongg, Dominoes, Field Trips, Shopping Trips, Lunches, Brunches, Pot Lucks and even a Red Hat Group known at the South Bass Belles of Put-in-Bay. They participate in many of the Ottawa County Programs that are available.

The Put-in-Bay year-round members, seasonal members, and visitors enjoy having fun, learning, and sharing experiences. They are usually open on Monday mornings and Thursdays. Other days they are open to meet the programs performed. They always have their schedule posted in their window, at the grocery store, and at the Put-in-Bay Post Office. You can also keep current with senior center news by following the Put-in-Bay Newspaper
